Kirby (tentative title)

According to the article this is the same Kirby game slated for the release around the end of the GameCube era (around 2005).
Kirby (2011) is developed by Hal Labotories and Kirby can once again suck & copy enemies abilities.
From the trailer Kirby has new abilities and new capabilities to use.
Like in Kirby Superstar or Kirby and the Amazing Mirror Kirby can execute multiple moves with a ability in the newest installment.

At the moment the information is scarce.

This means for the PAL regions it is possibly the best Kirby year ever with not 1 but 2 awesome Kirby games in one year!

Information is INDEED scarce, especially since it so far HAS to be translated from Japanese. The main issue if this is another kirby Wii, or the same one from years ago.

It is the same Kirby game from many years ago, but now spiced up with Wii power.
The Wii can process better and faster then the Gamecube and there are new software possibilities too.

This is the same case as with Kirby's Air Ride.
It should be a N64 launch game and then suddenly it looked like the project was cancelled.
Years later Kirby's Air Ride re-surfaced as a GameCube title with far more features and options then in the original design for the N64 version.

Kirby (2011) is a platform game, so there is not much Japanese to translate.
In Japanese this game is known as 星のカービィ, Hoshi no Kābī, literally translated as Kirby of the Stars.

Yes, I'm well aware of the Air Ride case. However, there isn't too much 'proof' that it's the same game (gameplay-wise, graphics-wise, etc.) that was in developement previously. That's what I meant by new game or not. I'm pretty sure that they are using the past one, but if they have redone it to be like a new game completely is all I was saying.

Hoshi no Kaabi is practically EVERY Kirby title in Japan, as well as whatever ending you'll have. Hoshi no Kaabi is like Legend of Zelda. The main title, plus a subtitle. So this means that its name at the moment is most likely not decided on by the programmars yet.

Nope, like I said in my 1st post of this topic details are scarce at the moment, ZeroN92.
Which is pretty normal when a new title just got revealed only a week ago.

If you watch the video there are are some juicy tidbits that I have not clarified further (to prevent possible spoilers).

@Zero: No new info at the moment. Plus, if any new info arises, it'll be in Japanese first, and people will have to translate it.

You are you, so I don't think that you will be overly annoying.
And you are a Kirby game veteran, so your voice really counts.

Video footage or screenshots doesn't require translation, so that can be announced and posted rapidly.

@lPhela: I was referring to any articles or announcements that would be made in the near future. Plus, the video had text that needed translating (the announcement). That's what I meant. Obviously a video would not need translating unless it had dialogue. :w

It depends, with actions and gestures in a video you can put 2 with 2 together.
